Ashton Pioneer Homes is an award winning Housing Association who put Customers views at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking to recruit a Community Capacity Worker to help us to continue to deliver our mission statement of working together towards a better place to live.
We are about to embark on a large consultation exercise to gather our customer views on how they see their future with APH and agreeing and setting local standards in line with the Tenant Services Authority new regulatory framework.
The aim of the position is to develop a range of ways to get customers involved in giving their views on the services they receive, agreeing local standards and exploring ways in which residents can monitor local standards. You will need to have experience of developing and delivering community projects and initiatives, identifying funding streams to sustain projects and encouraging, supporting and developing volunteers within the community. You will be experienced in partnership working and be required to monitor and evaluate all projects and initiatives.
We want someone who is able to work as part of a team but who is confident working independently at times. We are looking for innovative ideas to better involve and engage our customers in shaping the services they receive.
Evening and weekend work will be required and the successful candidate will be recruited on a self employed basis at the rate of:
£10.00 per hour 20 hours per week (Temporary until March 2011)
