Your main responsibility as a tenant will be to pay your rent each week. If you are claiming Housing Benefit it is still your responsibility and so it is important that you ensure the local authority’s Housing Benefit Team have all the information they require to process your claim.
Ashton Pioneer Homes will take immediate action against tenants that fail to pay their rent. If you can’t pay your rent or there is a delay with your Housing Benefit, you must contact your Housing Services Officer immediately. Our staff are always sympathetic and will work with you to solve any financial problems.
