Fire Safety Drop In 5th July between 2pm and 5pm

30th June 2017

Dear Resident,

Fire Safety

I understand that some residents still have concerns regarding fire safety in our high rise blocks.

In order to provide further reassurance, APH staff will be holding a question and answer drop-in session at our office in Margaret House, on Wednesday 5th July 2017 between 2.00pm and 5.00pm.  There will be experts available from Alumasc Ltd and Arcus.

Alumasc is the rendering system used on Grosvenor and Ryecroft Houses this year. Arcus are the Consultants APH used to oversee the work on our high rise blocks.  They were chosen due to their expertise in this field.

We are also hoping to have a representative from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) in attendance, however, this has yet to be confirmed.

If you have any questions that your would like to ask about the re-render, the render in other blocks, or other fire safety measures, then please call in on Wednesday to speak to staff and the experts. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend but have a query, please submit your question, in writing, to the Customer Services Team by 12 noon on Wednesday 5th July 2017.

Hope to see you there.
