Tenants living on West Park will not have failed to notice work to the new playground. Pendlewood Ltd and APH have combined to give the playground a sensational revamp. Also in this edition our 2008 - 09 Performance Report. our Chair said, 'Yet another excellent year in terms of staff performance and efficiency savings. I would like to thank the staff, Board and local residents for their contribution in making APH one of the top performing Housing Associations in the country.'

In September 07 Ashton Pioneer Homes was pleased to annouce that one of their tenants, Linda Fletcher won the 2007 Tenant of the Year Award for the Northern Region at a glittering Award Ceremony at the Palace Hotel. To commemorate the achievement and to say thank you on behalf of the people of Ashton under Lyne, the Civic Mayor, Cllr Mike Smith invited Linda and guests for tea in the Mayor's Parlour on 17th December.

Friday 16th March was Red Nose Day across the UK in support of Comic Relief. Staff were involved in a number of fund raising activities. The Irish biscuits made by Maintenance Manager Emma Casey for sale ( with all profits going to Comic Relief) went down a treat with staff.
