Ashton Pioneer Homes

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

The Housing Corporation’s Regulatory Code and National Housing Federation Code of Governance sets out the principles and requirements for effective and accountable management of Housing Associations.

At Ashton Pioneer Homes, we have adopted this code and comply with it fully. The code recommends a maximum of twelve Board members, whish is the situation at APH. We consider this appropriate to reflect the diverse nature of our business, the communities we serve and our desire for close community and resident involvement, with a third of our Board elected from amongst our tenants.

Our Board membership comprises four elected tenants, four independent members and four council nominees. Together, they create a Board with a wide range of professional and community skills and expertise to support APH's work.
